Our privacy policy
A Call To Readiness is the preaching ministry of Gerry G. Register. This page explains what information we receive through this website, our email address, and the tool we use to publish sermons to YouTube, and what we do with it. In short: we do not track you, we do not sell or share your information, and we use your email only to reply to you.
This website
- This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social-media plug-ins.
- Everything on it, including fonts, is served from this site itself, so visiting it sends nothing to any other company.
- Like every website, the company that hosts it records basic technical details of each request (such as IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use those records to identify or follow anyone.
When you email us
If you write to contact@acalltoreadiness.org, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to read and answer your message. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your message or address with anyone outside the ministry unless you ask us to or the law requires it. Our email is hosted by Zoho Mail, which stores messages on our behalf. You can ask us at any time to delete your messages.
Listening on other platforms
The sermons are published on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, SermonAudio, YouTube and through our podcast feed. When you listen or watch there, that platform's own privacy policy applies, not this one. We do not receive personal information about individual listeners from them; at most we see overall totals, such as how many times a sermon was played.
Our YouTube publishing tool
The ministry uses a small private program, "GRM Uploader", to upload sermons to its own YouTube channel and to set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and playlists. It is used only by the ministry, on the ministry's own computer, and only with the ministry's own YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public.
- What it accesses: through the YouTube Data API, the ministry's own channel and videos, after the channel owner signs in with Google and grants permission.
- How the data is used: only to upload and manage the ministry's own videos and playlists.
- Storage: the sign-in permission is stored only on the ministry's computer. Nothing is sent to any other server.
- Sharing: data received from Google is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or any other purpose.
- Removing access: the channel owner can withdraw the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
